Our flagship Weather & Gear Planner is designed to help readers investigate the typical conditions at a destination in a chosen month, then understand what that means for tents, warmth, shelter, comfort and power. The public interactive version is currently in development.

Why we’re building the comparison desk

A list of product specifications only becomes useful when you can compare the right details side by side. Our planned product comparison tool is intended to make key trade-offs clear, rather than treating every tent or sleeping bag as interchangeable.
